Entries are eligible for awards and each entry will receive a peer critique whether it wins an award or not. The goal of the competition is to recognise and encourage excellence in technical communication.
In 2009 STC Australia is hosting competitions in three categories:
Entries of an appropriate standard are entered in the STC International Competition, and Australian entries have won awards in this competition in past years.
Each entrant receives a comprehensive critique from each of the three judges on the category panel.

Anyone can enter. You do not have to be a member of STC to enter the competitions. You can enter work as an individual or team member, on behalf of a colleague, or on behalf of your company.

Yes, there is a small fee required for EACH entry submitted. If you're an STC member, or if you pay early, you get a discount! The fees for the 2009 competition are:
Early Bird entries must be paid for in full or subject to a Purchase Order for the Early-bird fee to be valid. You cannot ‘book’ an early-bird entry.
