WelcomeThe aim of this website is to provide information to members and non-members about the activities of the Australia Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC). The Australia Chapter was formed in 2001, with the goal of providing Australian STC members with an opportunity to initiate and become involved in local activities and to discuss local issues. As an international STC chapter, we operate with a large degree of autonomy while upholding the constitution and by-laws of the STC. A proportion of your STC membership fees are returned for use in Australia for the benefit of our technical communication community. Our Chapter's major objective is to use this money for the promotion of the profession of technical communication within Australia. Our mission statement (PDF) has more details. |
